In contemporary museum practice, projection technologies are increasingly employed as scenography tools that transform exhibition spaces and enhance visitor engagement. This paper explores how video can serve as an informative part of an exhibition, seamlessly integrating with physical displays in order to make topics easier to understand and interact with. Special attention is given to the role of video as a unifying element – acting as a «glue» that connects textual explanations, artifacts, and thematic narratives. The discussion begins with a theoretical overview of video-based scenography then moves to more technical features of videos like movement, sound, scenario, before transitioning to a case study that demonstrates its practical application in a museum setting on the exhibition «Meyerhold’s case». The findings highlight the potential of projection technologies to enrich storytelling, deepen narrative understanding, and offer new possibilities for curatorial innovation.
