Issues of Metrological Assurance of Coordinate Measuring Machine
摘要
The study explores methods to enhance the measurement accuracy of coordinate measuring machines (CMMs). This improvement in accuracy is achieved by compensating for two types of errors: the first arises from the bending of the articulation rod under the influence of applied force, and the second from time drift that occurs in the CMM after it has been calibrated. The paper derives formulas to determine the appropriate force to be applied to the spherical probe in a CMM with an articulation link, with this force being dependent on the length of the part being measured. These compensatory adjustments aim to reduce measurement errors and enhance the precision of the system.
