We will study in this chapter the criticality of an infinite cylinder considered from a radial point of view, which is therefore a one dimension problem. Our starting point will be an homogeneous reactor with Dirichlet conditionsBoundary conditionDirichlet, which enables hand calculations. From this basis, we will go forward by introducing zones with various fuel enrichments, and a water reflector surrounding the fissile system. A particular focus will be brought on the following topics: the influence of the boundary conditionsBoundary condition, the influence of the reflectorReflector and of the loading pattern over the radial shape of the flux, the thermal and fast neutron radial leakageLeakage. Through this approach, we will attempt to approach some characteristics of a PWR 1300 MWe.

摘要
