We present the interactive platform GPT4CT designed to support the development of computational thinking skills, specifically problem decomposition, through structured interaction with generative AI. The tool allows students to decompose a problem into subtasks, generate implementations, and critically evaluate decompositions. It thus explicitly scaffolds decomposition tasks by combining human and AI reasoning in a collaborative working space. its primary focus is on guided learning and critical thinking, but lightweight gamification elements are incorporated to foster engagement and metacognitive reflection.
