Fiber-reinforced composites have been used to strengthen masonry structures, which typically exhibit low tensile strength. The matrix of the composite can be organic or inorganic. For masonry structures, inorganic mortars and more specifically lime-based mortars are preferred because of their compatibility with the substrate. Steel reinforced grout (SRG) is a type of fiber-reinforced composite that features steel fibers embedded in an inorganic mortar. As for similar composites, the debonding mechanism of SRG takes place within the composite rather than at the interface with masonry. To increase the effectiveness of composites applied to masonry, anchors can be used. In this work, the effect of anchors on the bond of SRG-masonry joints is investigated using single-lap tests. The capacity of the anchor is studied using pull-out tests. An experimental campaign together with an analytical model are presented.

摘要
