The water governance gaps and challenges for climate adaptation are only emerging now, with the increased number of foreign and locally funded adaptation projects. The governance research is imperative in meeting the sustainable development goals of Integrated water resources management. This chapter summarizes the major findings and policy recommendations regarding the water governance challenges identified in the previous chapters of the book and discusses the policy options and future research needs for tackling these challenges in the context of climate change.
