Prevalence of Voice Disorders in E-Cigarette Users
摘要
There is growing evidence in the literature on the impact of e-cigarette use on voice. The vocal complaints and changes in voice quality in vapers are often associated with adverse effects on quality of life, noted by an increase in the Voice Handicap Index-10 score. Abnormal laryngeal findings have rarely been reported. The pathophysiology of voice symptoms remains unclear, and future research on the acute and chronic effects of e-cigarette use on voice is needed.
