What I Found in My Research on Ethical Decision-Making Among Computer Science Majors
摘要
My dissertation study aimed at understanding how computer science students make decisions when encountering ethical dilemmas. I used constructivist grounded theory to conduct the study. Grounded theory is a suitable qualitative research method for studying processes without imposing predetermined categories on the collected data. By using this approach to inquiry, I was able to identify what factors influenced students’ decisions. In this chapter, I provide a brief introduction to the study and highlight some of my overall findings.
