Renewal of Dietary and Nutritional Norms in the Age of Social Media and Educational Challenges
摘要
In the age of social media, the relationship with the body and food is being transformed by dynamics of prescription, resistance, and education. Platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube amplify dietary and aesthetic norms. This dynamic, reinforced by algorithms and influencers, accelerates the commodification of eating practices and individual accountability. In response to these injunctions, narratives of resistance emerge, revaluing non-normative bodies and food sustainability. In this context, Media and Information Literacy (MIL) positions itself as a strategic lever to help young people develop a critical stance toward the norms circulating in digital spaces.
