Liver Core Needle Biopsies and Wedge Resection
摘要
Although decreasing in prevalence, liver biopsy remains an important tool for clinicians to evaluate a spectrum of liver pathologies. Liver biopsies are performed by a range of approaches varying by location and indication and are each limited by operator technique. In general, liver biopsy is a well-tolerated procedure with rare, but well known, complications that can provide important histopathologic information to guide future management strategies.
