Non-CR, Non-NE Liver Metastases
摘要
Major developments in modern surgical, loco-regional, and systemic treatments have significantly improved outcomes of patients with liver metastases, particularly from colorectal or neuroendocrine origin. Patients with liver metastases from other primary origin however have had varying survival benefits from aggressive treatment and the available data is scarce and often biased by their retrospective nature. We aim in this chapter to synthesize the available literature per primary cancer origin in order to guide management of these patients based on outcomes and identify gaps in knowledge that could benefit from active research to improve overall patient care.
