Assessing Overall Quality and Student Engagement in Online Learning Among Jordanian Students
摘要
Traditional teaching methods struggle to engage students in digital education. While online and blended learning offer opportunities to enhance engagement and satisfaction, their effectiveness remains unclear, requiring further research. This study examines how perceived quality in online learning affects student engagement in Jordan across behavioral, emotional, cognitive, and agentic dimensions to improve learning outcomes. The study confirms that higher perceived quality enhances student engagement by increasing participation, emotional connection, intellectual effort, and proactive involvement in learning. The findings emphasize the role of quality in digital education, guiding institutions to develop more interactive and effective online learning strategies that enhance student engagement and outcomes.
