The discourse on green development and sustainable development in the context of climate change has been ongoing for the last several decades. Specifically, one cannot ignore global initiatives like the UN-sponsored Sustainable Development Goals, or Agenda 2030 with 17 goals that directly and indirectly impact the relationship between human beings and the environment.
