This chapter, conceived ‘in place of an epilogue’, explores possible directions for the development of transdisciplinarity in legal science, against the backdrop of the global epistemological crisis and normative-institutional instability. It presents a reconceptualisation of legal research methodology through the adoption of a transdisciplinary normative ecology, compatible with global legal pluralism and technological emergences. International pedagogical models (from France, Canada and Brazil) are analysed, along with concepts such as legal consciousness, transnormativity and epistemological sustainability, outlining a new function of law: a vector of meaning within global normative networks. The conclusions reached highlight the need to reform legal education, to overcome methodological provincialism and to assume an anticipatory responsibility in constructing future legal norms.
