In this chapter, I highlight two selected problems in the subject sphere that need to be considered in connection with the introduction in Poland of solutions arising from Directive (EU) 2023/970 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 10 May 2023 to strengthen the application of the principle of equal pay for equal work or work of equal value between men and women through pay transparency and enforcement mechanisms (Official Journal of the European Union L. of 2023. No. 132, p. 21; hereinafter: the Directive). The first issue relates to the broad personal scope of the Directive and the second issue relates to the concept of equal work and work of equal value.
