This study aims to investigate the unsteady flow of a square vessel equipped with a Rushton turbine under unsteady flow conditions. Three turbulence models are compared. In fact, LES model provides the most detailed representation. However, it is computationally expensive. The RNG k-ε model offers a reasonable compromise between accuracy and computational efficiency. The standard k-ε model, while computationally efficient leading to less accurate results.
