Determinants of Consumer Happiness
摘要
In this chapter, we first describe research related to the antecedents (determinants) of consumer happiness. There are three major groups of determinants: (1) consumption factors (total amount of spending, relative consumption amount, experiential consumption, savoring of experiences, brand engagement, low financial conflict, spending less on material possessions, social sharing of consumption, and pro-social spending); (2) financial factors (income, accumulated wealth, money management stress, positive financial behaviors, and financial s elf-efficacy), and (3) market-related environmental factors (the country’s level of economic development, the country’s cost of living, the country’s consumption equity, and the country’s positive marketing practices).
