In this chapter, we first describe research dealing with the antecedents (or determinants) of consumption happiness. The research points to several tracks of antecedents, namely perceived value, perceived quality, intrinsically enjoyable and meaningful experiences, satisfaction from a product that fits well with personal values, a positive self, and social satisfaction.
