This chapter covers considerations and scenarios that arise from having a fully operational farm that produces crops and recycles mass that must be processed into foods, and the settlement and farm together define the experience of those visiting and living in the settlement. First, crops become edible food menus via processing. Ingredient and food sources are considered as the settlement evolves to include dependents. Finally, there is a user story of how a space settler manages and controls a fully constructed space farm as part of a healthy space community.
