Civil Liability for E-Waste
摘要
Electronic waste is an emerging issue that induces increasing environmental, economic, and legal issues, especially following technological development and rapid digital transformation. E-Waste contains hazardous and toxic elements, demanding safe handling that needs efficient legal control that balances environmental protection and sustainable development. This research attempts to explore the conceptual, environmental, and economic structures of e-waste and civil liability thereof. It further explores legal theories for determining liability and compares them with legislation that governs the Kingdom of Bahrain in comparison to some Gulf and global practice, in this case, the European Union legal framework.
