The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Business Decision-Making

This research explores the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on business decision making, mainly in the context of certain organizations operating in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Previous research studies conducted on this topic show that AI is one of the latest technologies that have the capabilities to significantly transform different aspects of business operations including decision making, task automations, and other aspects of day-to-day operations. This study adopts a conceptual research approach. It involves a comprehensive and critical review of existing literature on Artificial Intelligence applications. The findings of this study are expected to contribute to the existing body of knowledge pertaining to the role played by AI in furthering business strategy, along with providing recommendations for business organizations in Bahrain and beyond as to how they can integrate AI into the decision-making process.
