Anchoring GFRP Rebars: Analysis, Experimental Investigation and Assessment for Design
摘要
As composite materials gain traction in reinforced concrete construction and infrastructure, addressing typical structural challenges becomes essential. Despite their high durability and favorable strength-to-weight ratio, aspects such as bond behavior and workability require thorough evaluation. This study investigates the axial bonding performance of GFRP bars. Two types of manually assembled joints are examined, and their mechanical behavior is characterized through tensile testing. The results support preliminary design guidelines to inform future developments in this field.
