PassPhrase Authentication: A Secure and User-Friendly Multi-factor Authentication System Using Phrase and Gesture Integration
摘要
The escalation of cyber threats in the digital landscape, including brute-force intrusions, phishing tactics, and keystroke logging, has significantly heightened risks to vital online assets. Exploiting weaknesses in conventional authentication frameworks, these attacks result in unauthorized data breaches, financial exploitation, and compromised personal or institutional records. The growing complexity of such threats highlights the necessity for resilient, user-friendly, and advanced authentication mechanisms. This research introduces PassPhase Authentication, a novel multi-factor security approach designed to enhance protection while maintaining ease of access. The framework integrates user-generated passphrases, interactive image-based gestures, and click-point verification to create a personalized and intuitive login process. By incorporating predefined visual markers, dynamic selection patterns, and coordinate-based validation, the system effectively counters brute-force infiltration, phishing exploits, and keystroke monitoring. The methodology relies on randomized visual stimuli, encrypted data exchange, and cryptographic safeguards, including salted hashing, to uphold data confidentiality. Experimental findings confirm that the proposed method ensures a balance between stringent security measures and user convenience, offering a viable enhancement over conventional verification systems. This study contributes to the advancement of a secure, accessible digital identity validation framework.
