Shaping the Next Generation of Entrepreneurs: Educational Strategies for Startup Business Development
摘要
This study examines the integration of startup-oriented teaching methods into higher education to foster entrepreneurial mindsets. It presents two case studies conducted over several years at Brazilian educational institutions, focusing on the use of active learning methodologies, particularly Project-Based Learning (PBL) and Challenge-Based Learning (CBL), along with agile frameworks and resources. Key findings from the research indicate enhancements in technical skills, improved socio-emotional competencies, and successful transitions of various student-developed Minimum Viable Products (MVP) into viable businesses. The study also addresses challenges related to team dynamics, resource allocation, and assessment integrity, offering practical recommendations for educators and practitioners. These recommendations emphasize the importance of iterative feedback cycles, promote partnerships with industry, and advocate for the broader adoption of startup education in academic settings.
