Models for Research the Deflection and Stability of a Gun Drill When Machining Deep Holes
摘要
The process of deep drilling of holes in the tube sheets of a heat exchange unit, made with gun drills, is considered. In connection with the asymmetric design of the gun drill, the conditions for the formation of stem deflection during the processing of deep holes are considered. It was assumed that the mass of individual sections of the stem is concentrated in the middle of these sections. The acting forces were determined from the condition of rotation and the presence of eccentric compression. For a specific tool, deflection values are determined for different lengths of stem sections. The features of the effect of coolant (coolant) in deep drilling are considered. It is noted that the removal of chips from the cutting zone by means of coolant creates additional hydraulic resistance in the system, which causes additional dynamic loads acting on the stem, and the determination of which requires experimental research.
