The paper shows the relationship between the properties of driving stability and braking dynamics of a vehicle and the wheel rolling radius. It is determined that when the wheel rotation axis is tilted, the rolling radius decreases. The developed methodic for calculating the rolling radius of a vehicle wheel when the rotation axis is tilted. The methodic is based on the relationship between rolling radius and normal tire stiffness. The change of the wheel normal stiffness at the axis tilt is also taken into account. According to the proposed methodic the rolling radii of wheels with passenger radial tires of 9 models (with known normal stiffness) when their rotation axes are tilted to different angles were determined.
