Development of a Prototype of a Robotized Device for Water Sampling
摘要
The modern world is inextricably linked to the development of robotics and information technologies. These two fields closely interact with each other, bringing significant changes to various aspects of human life. The relevance of addressing this issue increases with the growing number of applications. Robotics plays an important role in industry, medicine, education, and many other areas. Robotic solutions for water sampling allow for the improvement of existing technological processes, relieving humans from labor-intensive and hazardous work. The device described in this article is designed to eliminate the risk of human interaction with the studied environment, as well as to optimize the process of sampling and research. The device for water sampling is an automatic device that can work alongside an operator (laboratory technician) for automated sampling from visually defined areas or from pre-established points to eliminate contact with the object or potentially contaminated zone. The article describes the design of the robotic water sampling device, presents its electronic-digital model, and examines the device’s functionality using various software products, namely the FLOW Simulation module with emitted real flow conditions of the aquatic environment and FLOATSOFT.
