摘要

The Internet of Things (IoT) integration in radiation oncology is changing cancer treatment through the enhancement precision, patient monitoring, and patient care. Personalised radiation treatment using IoT enabled devices such as smart sensors and real time data analytics improves workflow efficiency in radiation therapy. This paper discusses the transformative role of IoT in radiation oncology through smart monitoring systems in real time patient tracking, precision improving treatment technologies in radiation treatment and patient centric innovation in radiation oncology. Also we explore the obstacles faced in the adoption of IoT including data security, regulatory compliance and ethical concerns. It also discusses emerging trends such as AI-powered IoT solutions, 5G enabled data transmission, edge computing in order to make quick decisions. As digital transformation influences the cancer care, IoT will recreate cancer care via remote monitoring, adaptive treatment delivery and improved patient outcome. Integration of these technologies with artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and big data analytics will be the future of radiation oncology. The paper is well written and could provide the clinicians, researchers, and healthcare policymakers with valuable insights about the potential of IoT in bringing revolution into radiation therapy while also addressing its limitations and directions of the future.
