This study proposes an intelligent facial recognition-based door security system, "Face Secure", to address modern challenges in home and building security. With the increasing vulnerabilities of traditional methods such as physical keys, PIN codes, and fingerprint scanners - which are prone to duplication, guessing, and spoofing. There is a pressing need for more secure, contactless, and adaptive solutions. The proposed system integrates Local Binary Patterns Histograms (LBPH) algorithm for accurate real-time face authentication, offering a cost- effective and efficient biometric access control mechanism.
