This feasibility study examines into the critical factors influencing the adoption of innovations within the agriculture sector. In an era where technological advancements are reshaping traditional farming practices, understanding the factors behind the adoption of these innovations is critical for sustainable agricultural development. Through a comprehensive literature review and feasibility study, this investigation identifies and analyzes the key factors that impact farm operators’ decisions to adopt innovative technologies and practices. Referring to the theories of innovation adoption and agricultural economics, the research explores variables such as technological complexity, socio-economic characteristics, market factors and policy environment. The study employs a qualitative interview with farm operators. These interviews provide a wealth of qualitative data, allowing for an exploration of the motivations, barriers, and contextual details that shape adoption behaviors. The research uses a qualitative lens to capture the perspectives and experiences of individuals directly involved in agriculture production, providing vital insights into the real-world difficulties of innovation uptake. Findings from this feasibility study will contribute to the development of a robust framework for understanding innovation adoption dynamics in agriculture, providing valuable insights for policymakers, researchers, and practitioners striving to promote innovation uptake and enhance agricultural productivity in both developed and developing contexts. The study attempts to give a complete knowledge of the variables influencing adoption decisions in various agricultural situations.
