Understanding meteorological components such as temperature, precipitation, humidity, wind, and air pressure is significant to realizing the complexity of climatic changes and how it affects the weather patterns, extreme events, and the long-term climate trends. Among these factors are precipitation and temperature which are the major drivers of climate variability that result in changes in the frequency of extreme weather events and the characteristic of climate patterns. It is crucial that these variables are taken into consideration in order to predict and minimize the impact of climate change. Through the use of information from various channels such as satellites, ground observations and climate models, GIS become the ultimate sources of data for making accurate forecasts. These projections play a vital role in actualizing successful mitigation programs at all levels, from the grassroots to the international. Specifically, this investigation analyses how temperature and precipitation have fluctuated over a 12-year period in Tamil Nadu districts including Chennai, Kanchipuram and Tiruvallur. In order to figure out spatial-temporal trends, the analysis process in this study is performed by using Innovative Trend Analysis (ITA) tools and GIS, which has the latest approaches. The implementation of visualization techniques, for instance, temperature and rainfall map, fosters stakeholder engagement and help to efficiently communicate findings. Trend analysis results are handy tools to get ready for the adaptation plans that diminish the effects of climate change and boost community resilience.
