Integrated Photonics for Neuromorphic Computing

In this chapter, we will explore the potential of integrated photonic computing using neuromorphic circuit design to meet the increasing demand for computing power. We will discuss the limitations of electronic devices and how we can leverage the inherent properties of light to overcome them. We will also examine the latest developments in all-optical neural networks and hardware accelerators that use integrated photonics, as well as analyze the underlying physics.
