Adult Vaccines for Occupational Activities
摘要
In many professions, the nature of the work, places individuals at a higher risk of exposure to infectious diseases. As a result, vaccination becomes a critical component of occupational health and safety. Tailored immunization programs not only protect the workers themselves but also help limit the transmission of infections to the people they care for, serve, or regularly come into contact with. Unlike routine immunization schedules based on age or general health, occupational vaccination strategies are designed with specific workplace risks in mind. For instance, those working in healthcare settings need protection against pathogens commonly found in clinical environments, while veterinarians face the added risk of zoonoses.
