This chapter considers the role that Relationships, Sex and Health Education (RSHE) has for young men and boys. RSHE still remains underdeveloped in this area, with targeted work for boys minimal and often repetitive and gendered. It explores how boys frequently stick to social scripts, avoiding honest dialogue, which risks pushing them towards unreliable sources. The chapter reviews the evolution of RSHE, outlining how shame can limit participation. It highlights how positive and effective approaches to RSHE for young men and boys can reduce sexual harassment, challenge harmful norms and promote healthy sexual development.
