In the course of the increasing cultural and religious pluralization of migration societies, it is necessary to advance empirical studies with an intercultural and interreligious perspective. 摘要

In the course of the increasing cultural and religious pluralization of migration societies, it is necessary to advance empirical studies with an intercultural and interreligious perspective. Specific methodological and theological challenges arise in the process, though, especially as the present study involves interviews with children and young people. In principle, children have the right to express themselves freely and be heard on all matters concerning them (Article 12 UNCRC; cf. Wihstutz 2019b, 25). As described in the introduction, however, little attention was paid to their perspectives in the context of flight, especially with regard to the intersection of flight and religion. The study therefore focuses on the perspectives and “subjective perceptions and processing methods” (Witzel, A. (2000). Das problemzentrierte Interview. Forum Qualitative Sozialforschung/Forum: Qualitative Social Research, 1(1), n.p.. https//:doi.org/10.1007/978-3-8349-9441-7_29, 2) of children and young people and the gathering of information on their individual religious belief systems and adaptive performance. A qualitative research design was chosen accordingly.
