Data-Driven Insights for Enhancing Financial Well-Being Among College Students
摘要
The financial literacy level of college students in Nagpur city is checked with the help of a questionnaire-based survey. An intervention is then carried out to enhance their financial knowledge. Pre- and post-intervention analysis is carried out using statistical tests. Data and statistics showed that the intervention proved helpful in enhancing the financial education of students. Limitations and future prospects are also outlined. The intervention significantly enhanced financial literacy, with volunteers’ knowledge scores increasing from 2.25 out of 3 (75% correct) to 4.3 out of 5 (86% correct; p < 0.01), representing an 11-percentage point improvement. Confidence in financial decision-making also improved markedly (Cohen’s d = 1.5), with strong intentions to adopt positive financial behaviours post-intervention.
