The Convergence of AI, IoT, and Agricultural Sensors for Sustainable Agricultural Practices
摘要
Organic farming is important globally and has alleviated challenges among them food scarcity, resource and environmental depletion issues. The combination of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and the highly developed individual sensors has become the promising solution for precision agriculture and effective usage of resources. This review synthesis looks into how these technologies can be combined harmoniously to enhance agricultural output with least effects to the environment. Integrated IoT applications and AI-driven analysis improve decision-making by acting on large datasets collecting from numerous IoT sensor networks. Such sensors offer real-time information on the state of the soil, whether or not it is appropriate for growing crops, performance of crops among other things. Examples focus on implementation success stories in areas such as smart irrigation, pest control and yield prediction. However, problems like high implementation costs, security of data, and high proportions of impracticability also remain a problematic issue. To promote technology assisted sustainable agriculture for large scale implementation, this paper elicits the advancement, utility, drawbacks and prospects for future development.
