Designing a Maturity Model for Data-Oriented Shopfloor Management
摘要
In the context of shopfloor management, traditional shopfloor management is increasingly giving way to innovative concepts such as digital shopfloor management and data-oriented shopfloor management. In particular, data-oriented shopfloor management offers the opportunity to increase the efficiency of the shopfloor and thus of the entire production system through data-based decisions and control. However, unlike traditional or digital shopfloor management, there is a lack of holistic approaches in the literature on how to design data-oriented shopfloor management. Specifically, there is a lack of a maturity model that provides a self-assessment of a shopfloor or a company and a possible development path. For this reason, a maturity model consisting of key and secondary criteria for data-oriented shopfloor management has been designed in this paper on the basis of empirical concept requirements from a qualitative study. The maturity model has been successfully applied and validated in practice by experts and offers the potential to be rolled out more widely in practice. This will allow for further refinement and detailing, as well as further detailed development based on this model as part of future research.
