Green cloud computing can greatly improve worker well-being in multiple ways. Green cloud initiatives reduce noise pollution, improve workplace comfort, and increase job satisfaction. The paper examined the complex influence of environmentally sustainable cloud computing methods on the health and satisfaction of employees. This extensive review synthesizes interdisciplinary research on the ways in which Green Cloud Computing (GCC) may contribute to environmental sustainability and positively enhance employee well-being. This chapter has highlighted and centered on recent empirical work in green IT, human resources management (HRM), and remote and work-from-home contexts. Collectively, these studies make evident how GCC mitigates energy use and carbon emissions, facilitates flexible work arrangements, and contributes to psychological health and organizational performance. Additionally, this study investigates how employees’ stress levels may be lowered by the efficient procedures made possible by green cloud computing. According to these results, putting green cloud computing ideas into practice may have a significant positive impact on workers’ well-being, possibly resulting in better health outcomes, more job satisfaction, and an all-around higher standard of living at work.

摘要
