Simulation for Leds Lighting in Hyperspectral SWIR Cameras
摘要
The work is focused on the simulation of using LEDs peculiarities for hyperspectral backlight in the SWIR range, determination the optimal quantity and spectral LEDs compositions and their position for proper conveyor belt lighting. The required minimum power density in the backlight area was calculated under the condition that an object with a reflection coefficient of 0.1 and a completely diffuse reflection mechanism must provide a signal level exceeding the camera’s own noise. The area was calculated, the uniform backlight of which is necessary for the correct operation of the camera. By replicating the luminaire, a lighting device was developed for which the required backlight for the entire field of view of the camera was achieved. At selecting the LED operating mode, continuous and pulsed modes were considered. The lighting device can be used for backlight in machine vision systems based on SWIR hyperspectral cameras.
