Emerging Trends and Future Directions in Nanoencapsulation Research
摘要
Nanoencapsulation is an evolving field within nanotechnology that has shown remarkable potential in a range of sectors, including pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, food and agriculture. Recent research has centred on improving the bioavailability, stability and targeted delivery of encapsulated components. By functionalizing nanocarriers with particular ligands, precise delivery mechanisms have been made possible, reducing off-target effects and improving therapeutic efficacy. Furthermore, novel uses in food fortification, diagnostics, and illness therapy have resulted from the combination of nanomaterials with bioactive chemicals. In order to ensure sustainability and reduce environmental effect, the usage of biocompatible and biodegradable materials is becoming more popular. Moreover, novel nanoencapsulation techniques, such as stimuli-responsive carriers and electrospinning, are revolutionizing food processing, functional materials, and agricultural formulations. As research continues to advance, nanoencapsulation holds significant promise for addressing complex challenges in healthcare, food security, and environmental sustainability, making it a key area of innovation in the coming years.
