In 2006, the Faculty of Medicine of the National University of Colombia created the first postgraduate training program for Physicians in the field of Alternative Medicine, including Neural Therapy as a component of its training areas. This program in the modality of Professionalizing Master’s Degree, which later took the name of Master’s Degree of Deepening, has been evolving and perfecting itself seeking the structuring of Neural Therapy as a Complex Medical System under the name of Neuraltherapeutic Medicine. This chapter presents the background, motivations, circumstances, and processes that were presented in the structuring of the Graduate Program and in the transformation of the concept of Neural Therapy into Neuraltherapeutic Medicine.
