In Colombia, Neural Therapy has a complex and interesting transformation, which leads it to be recognized as a medical system with its own rationality called Neuraltherapeutic Medicine. This chapter develops a dynamic account of some events, characters, and milestones that contributed to this process. Neural Therapy, whose roots lie in the Russian school of physiology, arises and is strengthened in Germany. From there, in the 1970s, it arrived in Colombia, finding a fertile and unique ground: the most diverse academic and popular knowledge, experiences of community and women’s organizations, contributions from sociology, complexity sciences and complex thinking, among others perspectives; all interwoven from a respectful dialogue. These characters, contexts and processes, when encountering Neural Therapy, permeate its clinical practice , generating postures with their own identity and contributing with the gradual structuring of a new paradigmatic vision that provides novelties in its conceptual frameworks and in the perceptions of life, health-disease and transformations in the subjects immersed in these dynamics.
