The approach and treatment of emotional and mental aspects in medicine in general represents a challenge for the practice of medicine itself. The efforts of biomedicine, although they have prevented many deaths from mental health disorders, have focused mainly on care based on the biochemical suppression of symptoms. Approaches that focus on treating the root cause of mental disorders are still scarce. This chapter presents the epistemological and conceptual foundations of a new synthetic and comprehensive approach that takes elements from the sciences of complexity, synthetic physiology, Neuraltherapeutic medicine, and other psychotherapeutic tools. An explanatory model of the FADEt Technique is presented as a process of restructuring networks of meaning inspired by Anokhin’s theory of functional systems. The way of initial approach of the patient with the three stages of the patient interview is exposed, where it is essential to identify the “attempted solutions” or symptoms of the patient, unraveling the root cause that gave rise to them or what is worthy of healing and stimulating the restructuring of individual networks of meaning.
