An Attempt at a Phenomenology of (the Cynicism of Our Phenomenology of Our) Cynicism: The Unhelpfulness of Philosophy
摘要
Based on the criticisms considered in the previous chapter, this chapter focuses on the aporetic, potentially self-undermining character of environmental philosophising. The presented worry is that a philosophical treatise on environmental topics can easily become self-important, even silly, especially if it misidentifies the role and contribution of philosophical reflection as vitally important for environmentalist practice.
