The Economy of the Arctic
摘要
The economy of the Arctic is composed of local, regional, and national economies of different size and resource geographies. These economies exhibit broad variations in the type and availability of economic and employment opportunities, and in the issues and challenges they face. While heterogeneity describes these economies, they also have many distinctive features in common, some of which are structural in nature and may include obstacles for achieving progress for the region’s current and future sustainability and economic development.
