In this chapter, all architectural features that were found and documented in the Pre-Pottery Neolithic C site of Atlit-Yam, are presented. They comprise structures and installations built of stone and/or mudbrick. Most are incomplete and only portions of structures and their foundations are preserved. Also described are isolated walls that were constructed in different ways (single wall, double parallel walls etc.), some up to 60 m in length. Other kinds of constructions are also described here, including: stone-lined wells and round pits, megalithic installations built of massive stones, installations containing burnt mudbricks and different types of stone or mudbrick-paved floors and surfaces. Based on these architectural finds, the possible site organization and settlement model of Atlit-Yam are discussed in relation to other Pre-Pottery Neolithic sites in the Southern Levant.

摘要
