Multicultural nations such as Canada, the USA and those in Europe have become increasingly post-secular, with population mixes comprising a variety of religious, spiritual, and secular outlooks on life. Post-secular societies cannot be properly understood without knowledge and awareness of the worldviews that have shaped their past, and how they continue to shape the lives of individuals and groups of individuals in those societies in the present. This chapter will highlight some of those worldviews and encourage public educators to create awareness in students of their impact in a variety of different areas of life. It will then briefly present a worldview framework inviting learners to gain better understanding of the worldview they embrace as well as those embraced by others. 摘要
