This paper presents results of two full-scale tests of flexible pavements with aggregate base stabilized with multi-shape coextruded geogrids. Test sections consisted of sections with geogrids and control sections without geogrids. After construction sections were trafficked with in-service heavy traffic for 9 or 13 months. In both cases sections with geogrids outperformed their control counterparts. Details of sections construction and pavements performance, as well as post-trafficking analysis are presented.

摘要

This paper presents results of two full-scale tests of flexible pavements with aggregate base stabilized with multi-shape coextruded geogrids. Test sections consisted of sections with geogrids and control sections without geogrids. After construction sections were trafficked with in-service heavy traffic for 9 or 13 months. In both cases sections with geogrids outperformed their control counterparts. Details of sections construction and pavements performance, as well as post-trafficking analysis are presented.
