Air Conditioning Control Framework for Achieving Better Energy-Efficient of School Building
摘要
A significant factor contributing to energy wastage in air conditioning systems is their uninterrupted operation, even during periods when classrooms remain unoccupied or outside scheduled class hours, where such usage does not fulfill any educational function. To address this issue, this study proposed a temperature control framework based on Benkon IoT divide and computer vison algorithms. A camera system monitors the number of people entering and exiting the classroom to determine adjustments for a comfortable temperature. The performance of the ACTC framework has been assessed at I4 building’s Thu Dau Mot University. The experiment results demonstrated real-time responsiveness and an average daily electricity savings of approximately 13.38%.
